Estacio latest VCF Academy player to make unofficial first team debut

In a matter of weeks, Xavi Estacio has received two pieces of good news. A contract renewal with the VCF Academy at the end of June was followed by his first minutes with the first team, in the friendly held last Saturday against FC Cartagena.
Estacio (born in Manises in 2001) has spent eleven seasons at the VCF Academy. A right back, he came to the club at Benjamin level and has been growing and maturing ever since.
Accustomed to success at the VCF Academy and also with Spain at youth level, last season he had to overcome a series of injuries that did not allow him to be so active on the pitch.
This summer, three right backs from the VCF Academy have enjoyed their first minutes in a friendly for the first team: Joseda Menargues, Marc Ferris and Xavi Estacio.
